On Earth Day, April 22, 2010 I launched heidiBARKUNframes.
They are limited edition eco-friendly picture frames that are unique works of art.
5% of the retail price of every frame is donated to Equiterre.org, a Quebec-based organization that promotes both local and global ecological and socially just choices.
All pieces are sanded to remove loose paint, then varnished with Nansulate LDX - a new product that encapsulates lead found in pre-1978 paints.
Every frame is available with the choice of either glass or mirror.
